It’s always a pleasure to join the Georgia Economic Developers Association - GEDA for their Spring Workshop, and this year was no exception.

We had the honor of hearing from Governor Brian Kemp, toured the Savannah College of Art and Design, gained valuable insights on the Art of Negotiation from Savannah Chief of Police Lenny Gunther, toured the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) alongside GEDA Young Professionals, and were reminded by Heather Worthan of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of the power of authenticity in telling both your story and your community’s story.

Experiences like these continue to reinforce the strength, collaboration, and forward momentum of economic development in Georgia.

We had a fantastic time recently serving as judges for Round Two of the East Central Elementary Amazing Shake Competition! 🎤✨

Students stepped up to the challenge, sharpening their soft skills and participating in a lively business networking experience—and they truly came ready to impress! 👏

The Amazing Shake, created by the Ron Clark Academy, is an engaging, high-energy competition that brings together community leaders and role models to help students build the professional skills they need for future success.

A big thank you to Rome City Schools - Rome, GA for inviting us to be part of such an inspiring event! 💼🌟

We are excited to welcome Elevated Steel, LLC to Rome and Floyd County! This project represents a capital investment of $13 million with more than 100 jobs once they reach full capacity.

Elevated Steel is a one-stop shop for customers needing design, fabrication, coating, and installation of steel structures.
