Bartow County Model Aviation - BCMA AMA Chartered Club #2475 founded in 1988 Provide and maintain a site or sites suitable for flying radio controlled models by its members.

We are an organization of model aviation enthusiasts in Bartow County, Georgia which is in Northwest Georgia not far from Atlanta. The purpose of Bartow County Model Aviation (BCMA) and Northwest Georgia RC (NWGARC) is to:
Promote the building, safe flying, and instructional and competitive activities of model aircraft in the Bartow County area. Provide educational and technical assistance, meetin

g facilities, and special equipment for use in club activities. Promote support for other Bartow County organizations in their efforts to provide services to Bartow County citizens and to foster amicable relations between BCMA and other organizations and individuals. Provide fellowship between BCMA members and members of other model aircraft organizations. All activities of Bartow County Model Aviation shall conform to the policies and rules of the AMA and to the regulations of that organization governing model aircraft flight.

Come experience the awesomeness of FALL in GEORGIA on this 3 day EDF JET extravaganza - EJets over Georgia - 2026. This event will be similar to the above two existing events you all know and love.

We offer the following amenities for the event:

• DRY Camping - Full service GLAMPING

• Numerous hotels within 15-20 minutes from the flying site.

• Geotextile and Grass runways - An amazingly open flying site with 1000's of feet of overfly in any directions for your optimum EDF JET experience.

• Raffles and Awards on Saturday afternoon

• Breakfast and Lunch available on site each day

• Arrivals on Wednesday, October 21st - Departures Sunday, October 25th OK

Native son Eric Gordon, a U.S. Air Force master sergeant, returns to Rome in April for the Wings Over North Georgia Air Show. Gordon is the maintenance production superintendent for the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds demonstration squadron, which will perform at the Richard B. Russell Regional Airport....
