Wright Bagby is a lifelong Roman, retired business owner, community servant, and Republican candidate running for re-election to the Floyd County Commission Post 2. He has been married to his wife, Pat, for nearly 50 years, and together they have a daughter and son, and five grandchildren. Bagby is a graduate of Darlington School and Auburn University, and previously served the community as a memb

er of the Rome City Commission and as the mayor of the City of Rome. He has extensive volunteer experience working with the Rome/Floyd Planning Commission, the Rome/Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority, Northwest Georgia Boys & Girls Clubs, and a variety of other organizations. He currently serves on the board for the South Rome Redevelopment Corporation and the Community Foundation for Greater Rome. The Bagbys are active members of First Baptist Church of Rome.
