Northwest Georgia Housing Authority Quality Homes, Strong Families, Thriving Communities NWGHA provides housing through the Public Housing Program and the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

The mission of Northwest Georgia Housing Authority (NWGHA) is to provide decent, safe, and sanitary housing for eligible families, and to promote self-sufficiency and economic independence for its residents; to establish drug and crime free communities; and to assure fiscal integrity in all programs administered by this Authority without discrimination. There are currently 618 public housing units

spread throughout Rome & Rockmart, Georgia. NWGHA also offers 1,044 Housing Choice Vouchers for individuals to use in Floyd & Polk Counties. NWGHA also operates Appalachian Housing & Redevelopment Corporation and Three Rivers Housing & Development Corporation.
