This year the Romeoville Fire Academy has hit a huge milestone!!

20 years!!

The academy has grown immensely over these past 20 years and we are beyond grateful. None of this would have been possible without all of the support. We would like to thank all of the instructors, students, fire departments, and all of those behind the scenes.

We look forward to the next 20 years!

Another big day for a group of candidates!

This class took place at Tinley Park’s training facility! All candidates are now certified firefighters. Good luck on your future endeavors!

Are you looking to be a firefighter/paramedic?

We are pleased to announce that Romeoville Fire Academy, in partnership with Endeavor Health, will be administering a third grant application period for aspiring Firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians. If selected, students will be given the opportunity to attend the Fire Academy and the Emergency Medical Technician-Basic course through Romeoville Fire Academy with all expenses paid.

This grant opportunity specifically focuses on providing tuition free courses to underrepresented minority groups and communities as identified by the Endeavor Health Community Investment Fund.

We recently shared a post from Bolingbrook Fire Department with awesome photos from last week’s Heavy Vehicle Rescue class.

This post is a quick shout out to our logistics team. The members of the logistics team work day and night to setup for class. The week after, they are out here first thing cleaning up the carnage to prepare for the tow company.

The logistics members are chaos coordinators and the hidden force behind our team of instructors that lead programs.

Their commitment is second to none. Thanks guys!
