Saturday Feb. 21, is the first day of Mountain State Maple Days, celebrating our maple producers and the work they do during the harvest season. The event, hosted by the West Virginia Maple Syrup Producers Association and Future Generations University, a private university leading the charge in maple research in Appalachia, invites registered producers to open their doors to the public during the production season. This year, the event will be held on Feb. 21 and Mar. 21, 2026.
Check out the West Virginia Maple Syrup Producers Association's interactive sugar shack and maple distributor map linked below to see how you can celebrate maple during Mountain State Maple Days this year.
