As NPSTW comes to an end the members here at RVRS are beyond thankful for our 911 dispatchers. This is not just this week but all year long. The men and women at our 911 center answer each call bringing calm and peace to our citizens in their scariest moment’s.

Each year, National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (NPSTW) honors the 911 community for their dedication to the critical life-saving services they provide every day. NPSTW also recognizes the hard work of 911 telecommunicators who are there for us whenever and wherever emergencies happen, whether that’s in our homes, at our schools or on our roadways

Today students in the EMT class got to practice patient lifting with a new product we are trialing called the Mangar ELK lift system. This item will be on both of our trucks to help lift or move a patient who has fell and cannot get up on their own.
We are excited to trial this as it will be a great tool to help keep responders from potential injury themselves when trying to lift patients.
