A big thank you to Candy Faroni from Valley Bank for joining us at today’s Chamber luncheon and giving an excellent presentation on fraud and how it has evolved.

Candy shared an eye-opening look at several current types of fraud, how these scams work, and what we can watch for to help protect ourselves and our businesses. She also shared the story of a ransomware incident, including the resulting staffing challenges, the recovery process, and the very real human cost of dealing with an event like that.

We appreciate Candy taking the time to share her knowledge and experience with our Chamber members and community. It was an informative and timely presentation, and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us! 💙
