2 incidents on Saturday and current call:

12:47- Both the Squad and Rescue were dispatched to assist Station 63 on a Commercial/Industrial Building fire. Crews waited in manpower staging, but the fire was quickly knocked.

2:04- Assistant 48 was notified that a cow had fallen into a manure pit. The Rescue and Utility 1 headed out to pull the cow out of the pit. The Squad responded later for washroom.

Currently Rescue 48 is on a stand-by at Station 50.

This evening at 17:32, Station 48 was dispatched to a Class 2 MVA at the intersection of Lincoln Hwy. East and N. Soudersburg Rd. Crews took care of containment of fuel leaking out of the one vehicle, and traffic control.

It was a busy day with 3 calls.

#1: At 11:43 Rescue 48 was dispatched to assist with a Vehicle Accident with Entrapment in front of CV High School. On the way, extrication was complete and the Rescue was recalled.

#2: At 3:04 the Station was alerted to another Vehicle Accident with Entrapment at the intersection of Bachmantown Rd. and 896. Before arrival, all involved in the accident were able to self-extricate themselves. Crews took care of the scene and traffic control.

#3: At 7:15 Squad 48 was dispatched to assist on a Building/High Occupancy with Station 41. The Squad was held at the scene for a short time time.

We would like to thank the Conestoga Valley School District for allowing us to borrow a school bus for training last evening. With the influx of accidents involving school busses lately, we wanted our members to gain knowledge of all the emergency exits, and changes that have been through the years for bus safety (since most of us have been out of school for 20+ years.)

Members did walk-throughs and discussed different scenarios. We ask that everyone stay safe and to always obey all bus rules!

Last evening at 20:17 the station was dispatched to a dwelling fire in the first due. Upon Chief 48's arrival it was held to just Station 48 and the first incoming tanker (Tanker 41). It turned out to be a burn pile that was extinguished.
