Happening today! 10am-2p. Feel free to stop by Constitution park and meet some of the adorable animals, and maybe even take home your new best friend! We will be sat up around the pavilion closest to the playground.

Our shelter lobby will be closed today due to the event, but will reopen for normal business hours Monday the 15th.

Next time you drive by the flag on the hill, see if you can spot whats different about it right now!

Roosevelt City staff are aware of the flag on the hill. It's currently tied up between the pole and ball at the top. City staff went up around 5pm to assess what can be done. Once wind dies down staff will try to get the flag back down.

Youth beginner fishing class coming up! This is a great class for youth unfamiliar with fishing and want to learn the basics such as knot tying, casting, learn about fish, among other activities. STATE STREET ROAD WORK UPDATE:
The State Street road project north of 200 N is almost done. Work is anticipated to be completed this week with the road tentatively planning to open this Friday afternoon (June 12th). We appreciate your patience with the delays in this project.
The sidewalks, wider road, and shallow road grade/slope will benefit both vehicle traffic as well as pedestrian crossing onto the nature trail project!
