We're grateful to have been able to support this training. We're also grateful for our K-9 unit as well as our state units for all that they do!

We want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who attended and supported this year’s Andrew Cox K9 Memorial Training. This marks the fourth year of this training, and once again it was a great success because of the dedication and professionalism of everyone involved.

This year we were proud to host 14 different law enforcement agencies, and we are extremely grateful for the time, effort, and commitment each handler and agency brought to the training environment.

Special thanks to the agencies that attended and supported this year’s event:
Sandy Police K-9 Unit - Utah, West Jordan Police, Herriman City Police Department, Utah Department of Corrections, Taylorsville Police Department, Riverton City Police Utah, Vernal PD, Uintah County Sheriff's Office, Duchesne County Sheriff's Office, Roosevelt City Police Department, Murray City Police Department, Summit County Sheriff's Office, University of Utah Police Department, and Hurricane City Police Department.

A very special thank you to the Roosevelt City Police Department for being the sponsor of this year’s training. Andrew truly loved working at Roosevelt Police and always spoke highly of his time there. He always hoped to return and continue serving there one day. Chief Watkins and Andrew shared a close professional relationship and mutual respect, and their connection had a lasting impact on many of us.

Andrew was also known for taking handlers under his wing and investing heavily in their development and K9 training. I personally spent many hours training alongside Andrew and learned a great deal from him. His approach, patience, and passion for K9 work continue to influence how I train today, and it is my goal to carry forward his efforts by continuing to help train and develop K9 teams both locally and across the state.

We also want to recognize and thank Naples Utah Police Department, where Andrew Cox served as Chief at the time of his passing. Your continued support and involvement means a great deal to this memorial training.

A sincere thank you as well to this year’s sponsors who helped make this training possible:
Basin Sports, TJ’s Productions, Western Wasatch Customs, and Basin Wholesale West. Your support is truly appreciated and plays a key role in making this event possible each year.

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be sharing photos from this year’s training as well as highlights from previous years.

Thank you again to everyone who continues to support the Andrew Cox K9 Memorial Training and the mission behind it.
