CTE Student of the Month – May 2026
Join us in celebrating Chaz Murray from Rosamond High Early College Campus as our CTE Student of the Month!
Currently enrolled in the Construction and Video pathways, but has found his love in the Film pathway. Chaz has shown incredible confidence and natural talent both in front of and behind the camera. From acting to working with camera equipment, he has embraced every project with enthusiasm—sharing that his favorite part of the class is simply*“everything!”*
Chaz prides himself on his acting abilities and creativity, demonstrating storytelling skills and a willingness to put himself out there. He’s quickly become comfortable using camera equipment and continues to build his technical skills while improving his focus and technique.
Inspired by creativity at home, his dad, who makes movies, and his sister, who is studying film in college, Chaz is surrounded by role models who fuel his passion for the film industry.
His advice for other students? Stay focused, keep pushing yourself, and don’t be afraid to grow. With that mindset, Chaz shows that success comes from effort, confidence, and perseverance.
