Rosamond Community Services District entrusted the retirement of its American flag to Boy Scout Troop 41. Fun fact, Boy Scout Troop 41, which was established in 1942, is the Antelope Valley's oldest Boy Scout Troop.

This past Saturday, we had a 12" water main rupture in the middle of an intersection that took approximately 10 hours to fix. We want to thank the community for its support and patience as we fixed the broken water main. We appreciate the kind words and the people who stopped to provide our team with cold drinks.

We also want to thank our team members who responded immediately and worked in the heat to get that pipe fixed and water service restored.

RCSD is proud to announce that we are continuing our partnership with the American Red Cross by hosting another community blood drive. There are still plenty of appointments available for the blood drive this Thursday. Sign up today!

Our Assistant General Manager spent some time with the Pack 41 Webelos. As a former elected official, he gave the scouts a behind-the-scenes look at the election process and shared how his new role supports our local water and sewer systems—helping them understand how our community functions in real life.

Our General Manager and Assistant General Manager both attended the first 2026 membership meeting of the Kern County Special Districts Association. Industry partnerships like these help RCSD stay up to date on infrastructure, staffing, and legislative issues, as well as opportunities for advocacy. This is just another way RCSD works to provide our customers with long-term, safe, and healthy water and sewer service at the lowest practical rates.
