The American Heart Association offers programs for the classroom and for the gym to get help kids healthy and performing better in school.

Tomorrow, here at Stone Creek School, we are going to begin using the gym for PE classes. Students will need to have PE shoes brought to school. These shoes DO NOT need to be new. They just need to be shoes that they are not wearing outside that day. We want to keep snow, ice, water, salt, and dirt away from the gym floor so it does not become slippery. We appreciate your assistance.

The snow is here and we would like to continue to get the kids outside for recess and occasionally PE. This does require kids to have snow pants and boots.

We are looking for items that would fit our students. If you have any gently used snow gear that you could donate to Stone Creek School it would be greatly appreciated. We want all the students to enjoy their time outside.

Make sure the kids are dressed for the temperatures. Layers are good as morning and afternoon temperatures can be quite different. We will continue to go outside for PE as the weather allows us.
