Some of our members have been out most of the night an in to the later morning in the township clearing down trees and sitting on live downed power lines. The County Emergency Management along with our County Chair has declared the county a local state of emergency.
Emergency Responders from all agencies in the county have been going nonstop assisting in the removals. Thank you to everyone involved in the cleanup throughout the county including all of the firefighters and fire departments, Sheriff’s Office, MSP, Denton PD, Gerrish PD, Richfield PD, Road Commission, EM, and anyone else I may have missed.
We also want to thank our County Dispatchers who have been taking 100’s of calls all night and all day. Our dispatchers are the behind the scene heros that nobody ever sees.
