"I walked from my home in Wi******er to the Hestness boat ramp, where I found 8 blue bottle drop bags, all empty and stashed in the bushes. I took those bags and spent the morning walking up and down Del Rio Road collecting litter and I filled 5 of those 8 bags, and also found a white bag that I filled with recyclable bottles and cans. Then I picked up what litter there was at the Hestness ramp, where 3 piles of ci******es were dumped onto the parking lot within view of a trashcan lol.

Since this solo mission was on foot, once a bag was filled (there's 5 total), I left it where it was on the side of the road (except the recycleables, those are mine lol). If anyone is taking a trip to the dump soon or has room in their trashcans for a bag or two before the garbage trucks roll out, please take a bag if you can and dispose of it properly. I already did the dirty work, you just gotta toss the bag! Lets take care of the spaces we share!!

Breaking news!

Local man saves river.

Thank you so much Chase Cook for using your big strong muscles to save the day!

After a little digging we found out this tire weighs almost 700 pounds! And single-handedly, Chase pulled it out of the South Umpqua. We can't quite get it all the way up to land, so we are going to have to cut it up and dispose of it PROPERLY!

We need more people like Chase in our community! Myrtle Creek, Oregon you have a hero among you!

We cleaned up at Motel 8 off Edenbower and Aviation.

We got a big bag+ some out of their nature reserve and parking lot.

It would have been really cool had they let us use their dumpster, but its okay! We will pay to have it dumped! We usually stay out a few hours but it was HOT, so we're gonna go drink some water

We have passed over 500 followers!
With that HUGE milestone, we wanted to give a big thank you and quick update.

Starting Sunday, we are going to start posting time-lapse footage of our beautification projects, and potentially livestreaming them too.

If we do livestream, it will be on Tiktok (https://www.tiktok.com/.theburg), we will also be posting the time lapse videos there, so give us a follow!

Next month, we will be able to activate "Stars" donations on our page. We will be doing this, but want to be as transparent as possible.

Every penny (nickel, the Mint doesn't make pennies anymore) we make, will be put back into sustainability. We will post breakdowns of payments in > out.

Any additional funds raised past that, if and when we become sustainable - will be going directly into our community. (Buying things local organizations need, helping families buy food or pay bills, things like that).

We don't want to be rich in gold, we want to be rich in community. We would be honored to have you all join us in this journey, of rebuilding our community and addressing local issues affecting all of us.

This Saturday, 5/23 we will be at 803 Se Stephens Roseburg Oregon.

We will be at up at 1 pm with some canned goods and some resources. We will have the veggies from the Umpqua Valley Farmers' Market around 1:30 pm and will start prepping the stew then!

This week, we went up to Dexter Oregon in Lane County and helped with Community Unity, a cleaning incentive that WE inspired the Unity Party of Oregon to start! We are so proud of our community and are excited to watch as this movement grows!

This week, we're going to do something a little bit different. We're going to park by the Space Age on Edenbower (3150 Aviation Dr, Roseburg, OR 97470) and walk a portion of I5. On our way up to Dexter last week, we saw a BUNCH of litter along the road and in the drainage.

We will NOT be able to take the bags away because it will be unsafe for us to park on the freeway and inch up repeatedly to pick them up. We hope the City of Roseburg Government can arrange someone to pick them up!

On the flip side, we hope to fill AT LEAST 10 of our BIG bags! We will see you Friday!

If we get 106 more followers, we can have certain monetization options available to us. Any and all funds will be used to DIRECTLY assist our community. This will be done through sustainably funding dump runs and resources for beautification. If we have additional funds, they will be distributed to organizations or people in need.

Community Unity was AWESOME this week!

We went up to Dexter (outside Eugene) with our good friend Caleb Ticer! We cleaned up from the store to the 10 mile maker, and got 5 big bags (including a bunch of decomposing rats🤢)

We can't wait to team up again and make a difference in our community 🤘
