Thank you to all who supported my run for Douglas County Commissioner. I will continue to work toward making our county a better place for everyone and promoting a more open and accountable county government.

Although it is a real challenge to try to defeat the big money interest who finance our current elected officials, I believe that, when we the people join together, we will defeat them. We just need to keep working toward that goal.

Do you have an hour this week to help with the Vote Rita campaign? We are doing phone banking this weekend and up to the day ballots are due, which is May 15th.

We have only 11 days left before this primary is over. The thing that can harm us most is low voter turn out. We need everyone to be voting.

If you have an hour or two, you can make a lot of difference. We will be targeting registered voters to make sure those who want to move Douglas County in a different direction Get Out the Vote.
