Went on a little field trip yesterday...
I don't think I had ever been in the Perkins/Pacific building before...
The entrance is beautiful...
The lobby feels and smelled like stepping into the past.. Not a bad smell, just a smell of time and history... I had smelled in so many other buildings before...
It's beautiful inside and now occupies all kinds of small businesses... I think Julian Perkins, the man who it is named for would be proud of its current condition..

From The Umpqua Trapper, Winter 2019... One of the most beautiful items that you see when you first walk into the Floed-Lane House is this 19th century upright piano... I enjoying reading Cynthia's great article and learning more about it...
