The Summer Reading Program begins today!

Everyone is invited to read for fun and prizes; a Roseburg Public Library card is not required to participate.

The library has reading logs and book review forms for youth and adults, a full slate of special events, and the sixth annual Harry Potter Day. The program concludes August 22.

The StoryWalk® is back!

Enjoy “Silly Sally" by Audrey Wood between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. every day through Saturday at Stewart Park near the Half Shell.

This project is made possible by the Douglas County Cultural Coalition, Friends of the Roseburg Public Library, and Roseburg Parks and Recreation.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.

All children up to age 5 in Oregon are eligible for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, a free book-gifting program that mails one new book to registered children every month. This is a great way to build your child's home library.
