You may have noticed the new artwork adorning our recycling trucks, courtesy of two talented high school students. In collaboration with the high school art department, we selected the winning pieces and invited the students, Bailey and Sage, to receive their prize. We were delighted to meet them and showcase their artwork on our trucks. The students were presented with a check for their outstanding work. We wish them a bright future and continued success in their artistic endeavors.

As part of our new recycling initiative, we are identifying materials that are not suitable for recycling bins. Notably, glass is not accepted due to safety concerns, but can be recycled at the landfill. Furthermore, plastic clamshells are not recyclable and are therefore disposed of in regular waste. Your understanding and cooperation are essential to the success of this program.

Residents, we would like to take a moment to clarify the details surrounding the new recycling cans. Important points include: 1. These cans are intended for recycling materials only. 2. There are no changes to your regular trash collection, which will continue on a weekly basis. 3. We wish to assure you that there is no additional fee associated with this service. 4. The rollout of the new recycling program is set for May 4th; in the interim, please continue to utilize your current blue recycling bin. 5. Your designated recycling pickup day will remain the same but will occur every other week; a calendar has been provided with your container to help you keep track. 6. The new recycling will be co-mingled.
Please help your neighbors that may not have access to social media.
