So today I wanna make a tribute on behalf of TUFF'R THAN LIFE... Whenever we met Tim Sherer, we never knew that he would become a mentor, friend, and such a spiritual influence in our life... He was humble, kind, and loving beyond normal standards... He give without wanting back, he'd hug you like he loved you, because he did... He never once judged me, or pretended he was unapproving of anything you done... He loved outloud, my kids and me myself loved and missed him whenever he wasn't around... You see the dream of an arena was shared by Tim as well as I... He knew the cost of moving ground was very expensive, and he wouldn't have approved before now, but he was solely responsible for the ground being leveled and developed for this arena we have... I told him I'd put his name on the arena, and he said absolutely not, he wouldn't take credit or Glory for anything that happened, but yet he broke the ground and made it ready, and his price, well no charge would he take... He had a vision of kids that loved the arenas, to be able to run locally, unaffiliated with any governing groups... Free to come one novice, as any pro... Kids having a place to come... He had the same passion's as I... The love for all children, being able to hang out and just enjoy being loved on... When Tuff coleman was tragically taken from us, he had absolutely no problem with the name becoming Tuff legacy arena, he loved Tuff as much as anyone could... He was as heartbroken over it as most anyone... Because these kids were as much his as anybody... So when Tuff legacy came to fruition, it was only fitting to dedicate it to GOD'S Glory... He afterall inspired every thing that this arena stands for out of love, the ground was broken in love, the dedication, was in Love... The love that Tuff had for JESUS, his family, his friend's, and all the labours of love given to this arena... The name that GOD give my niece Ashley McCarty, TUFF'R THAN LIFE... the dedication that Tim and Tuff had to the agape type Love that JESUS had for all humanity... That is what this arena was established on, LOVE... So I thought it woud only be fitting to dedicate this story to the man who broke the ground, and prepared it for GOD'S Glory... I fail many times trying to do it justice and keep the story alive... But I promise you I Will never let Tim Sherer or his legacy of Love for all be untold... This tribute is to love! And a man that did all things out of love... He wasn't perfect, but he was made perfect, and he was awarded many crowns... Because he never let anyone feel unloved...he had a heart of gold and achieved so much here as a good loving man...today he's in paradise without a doubt,as it should be ... We love and miss you and pray that heaven received you with an overwhelming amount of joy and jubilation... And I pray that Tuff got a big old Tim kiss on the head with old crooked grin...
