The Roseland Fire Department is an all volunteer department consisting of over 35 members and cadets operating from a single station in Roseland, New Jersey. Each year we respond to many requests for fire and rescue services while maintaining an active role in our community. Our town is primarily residential, but also contains several office complexes, industrial sites, and has a major state highw

ay running through it. As a result, our department responds to a wide variety of incidents ranging from structure fires, car fires, motor vehicle accidents, rescues, fire alarms, medical service, electrical fires, and a great deal of mutual aid to other Essex and Morris County communities. We provide the following services: fire suppression, automobile rescue, collapse rescue, high angle rescue, hazardous materials response, basement pump outs, fire prevention education, medical first response, and have members serving on the West Essex Technical Rescue Team. In an emergency call 9-1-1, or for non-emergency inquiries, call 973-226-1126.

This afternoon members attended the Roseland Picnic. The town picnic ends at 1500hours.

This morning members attended NJ Transit Rail Awareness and Operations Class. We learned safety protocols to protect both ourselves and passengers, including hazard awareness, situational response, and communication procedures. The training also covered how to properly perform a system shut down, ensuring equipment is secured quickly and safely when necessary. We would like to thank for inviting us and for conducting the class.

🇺🇸Memorial Day🇺🇸

Today we pause and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving in the United States Military.

It is more than just a holiday or the beginning of summer…
It is a day of reflection, gratitude, and honor for those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms.

Their sacrifice reminds us of the true cost of freedom and the strength of the human spirit.
