Today is Lake Park High School Marching Band Tag Day, and I hope you’ll consider supporting these incredibly talented students.

This year’s fundraiser is especially important. After this week’s severe storms, the marching band had equipment damaged, creating unexpected expenses on top of everything else they already work so hard to fund. I’m increasing my donation this year because I know what this program means to so many students and families. The dedication, discipline, and pride these musicians bring to our community is something worth investing in.

If you see the students out collecting donations today, please say hello and give what you can. If you’re unable to see them in person, you can still make a donation online. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ensure these students have the equipment and opportunities they deserve.

ATTN: MOVED TO LP GYM WEST CAMPUS (rain) Preview Night is this Friday - the community is invited to come and see what our marching band students have been working on this summer. This year's show is very 🧊😎. Band performs at 5:30 sharp at LP west. There will be a post-performance ice cream social, courtesy of the LP Band Auxiliary.
