“We Are Taiwan” is an 80-minute immersive performance celebrating Taiwanese heritage, culture, and contemporary art, presented by the Taiwan Center of Greater Los Angeles in collaboration with the National Taiwan University of Sport Dance Company, in celebration of Taiwanese American Heritage.
Our Princess Alina and Princess Audrey served as emcees for the event, while Princess eJenn welcomed and assisted attendees as an ambassador.
As eJenn shared, the performance is rich in Taiwanese elements and storytelling. With 11 more performances across the country, don’t miss the opportunity to experience it!

Sharing history from one generation to the next.

Alina was one of the children sitting in the audience, listening to the 2/28 “Little Water Buffalo” story and learning about this important chapter of Taiwan’s history. As a Miss Taiwanese American, she has stepped into the role of storyteller — passing down what she once experienced and learned to the younger generation.

From listener to leader, from student to storyteller — this is what carrying our history forward looks like.
Remembering 2/28 is not only about honoring the past, but ensuring the next generation understands the story and the strength behind Taiwan’s democracy.

A few days ago, we were worried the weather wouldn’t cooperate — but it turned out to be a beautiful, warm, and sunny day ☀️
Miss Taiwanese American, along with the Deputy Director of TECO and the Director of the TECO Culture Center, proudly participated in this year’s Los Angeles Golden Dragon Parade.
Hearing parade spectators cheer for Taiwan was truly heartwarming ❤️
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this day possible!
