Miss Taiwanese American to the baseball field!

Our former Miss Taiwanese American, Celine Huang , brought Taiwanese Hakka culture to the Arizona Diamondbacks’ Taiwanese Heritage Day with a special Hakka Tea Dance that she created and led herself.
Through dance, Celine shared a beautiful part of Taiwan’s Hakka culture with the baseball crowd and showed how our MTA members continue to represent and promote Taiwan beyond the pageant stage.

So proud to see Celine Huang continue to serve the community.

What an unforgettable Fourth of July!

Miss Taiwanese American was honored to represent the Taiwanese American community at the Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade alongside more than 100 Team Taiwan volunteers.

From waving to the crowd and sharing smiles to engaging with spectators along the parade route, every interaction was an opportunity to introduce Taiwan to thousands of people celebrating America's birthday.

Together with our "Discover Taiwan" float in collaboration with .na, we proudly showcased Taiwan's beauty, culture, and friendship with the United States.

Thank you to everyone who cheered us on, accepted a Taiwan fan, and shouted "Taiwan!" Your enthusiasm made the day even more meaningful.

Here's a look back at some of our favorite moments.

What an unforgettable Fourth of July!

The Taiwanese American community showed up in an incredible way, with over 100 float walkers—from 8 to 70 years old—registering to join the Discover Taiwan parade delegation in less than 24 hours.

Leading our delegation was TECO Director General Ma, whose participation reflected the strong friendship between Taiwan and the United States.

This year's float was made even more special through our collaboration with Taiwan Tourism Administration, allowing us to showcase Taiwan's breathtaking scenery, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality to hundreds of thousands of spectators along the parade route.

As we made our way down the parade route, hearing the crowd shout "Taiwan!" was an unforgettable moment for everyone in our delegation.

Director General Ma and our float walkers handed out thousands of Discover Taiwan handheld fans, which quickly became one of the most popular giveaways of the parade.

Our Miss Taiwanese American Queens and Court captivated the crowd with their elegance, warm smiles, and grace, proudly representing the Taiwanese American community and serving as wonderful ambassadors for Taiwan.

A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, supporters, and community partners who made this celebration possible. Together, we celebrated America's Independence Day while proudly sharing the beauty of Taiwan with our local community.

Discover Taiwan. Celebrate Friendship. Build Community.

The "Discover Taiwan" float was inspired by a simple vision: to celebrate the spirit of America's Independence Day while introducing the beauty and diversity of Taiwan to hundreds of thousands of parade spectators. As America commemorates its 250th Anniversary, the design brings together patriotic red, white, and blue elements with Taiwan's iconic landmarks and cultural treasures, creating a visual celebration of friendship and shared values. The front of the float showcases Taiwan's breathtaking scenery, engineering achievements, and rich cultural heritage through Taipei 101, Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan High Speed Rail, Lukang Mazu Temple, Eluanbi Lighthouse, Indigenous culture, and Taiwan's world-famous tea and bubble tea. Leading the float are Taiwan's Black Bear and America's Bald Eagle, standing side by side as symbols of friendship, freedom, and the enduring bond between the people of Taiwan and the United States. The reverse side continues the story through four defining themes—Heritage, Innovation, Exploration, and Progress—represented by a traditional temple, Taipei 101, Eluanbi Lighthouse, and Tamkang Bridge. Together, the float invites the community to celebrate America's Independence Day while discovering the beauty, culture, innovation, and welcoming spirit of Taiwan.
