In Max’s Own Words:
Since I was little, I’ve loved playing sports, whether it’s football, lacrosse, basketball or baseball I love playing it. I’ve always been a very competitive kid I love competition. I’ve known that I would be a football player for a long time. Ever since I was 5, I wanted to play in the NFL! I will NOT stop working towards that dream!

Sports has taught me so much about hard work and discipline. I learned that if I want something I have to work hard to get it and it won’t just be handed to me. The discipline is showing up on the days I really don’t want to. Because if I really want something that’s what it’s going to take.

In Isla’s Own Words
Being part of the Rosemount Girls Swim and Dive program over the past four years has truly shaped me into the person I am today. This team has supported and encouraged me to always push harder and has given me a community I can rely on, both in and out of the pool. Whether it is a hard day at school or frustration with my times, I know my teammates and coaches are always there for me.

As a team, we talk a lot about how swimming is an individual sport that we make into a team sport. We work towards goals as a team and put the team first. That means a lot of the time, you switch your events depending on the meet. It taught me to be adaptable and not dwell on what I thought would happen. Being on our team has also taught me time management. We come and leave as a team, so there are a lot of late nights after a meet, leaving less time to get work done. I had to learn to manage my time to get all my homework done and keep my grades up.

The most important lesson I learned is how to handle disappointment. You are not always going to win or have the best time but being able to bounce back and still encourage others truly makes the difference between a win and a loss. Your attitude during practice or meets can change the trajectory of the whole season.

The wait is over — Graduation Day is here. 🎓

In just a few hours, the Rosemount High School Class of 2026 will make their way into the arena one final time as students, before leaving as graduates. Tonight marks the end of countless moments that shaped their high school journey — friendships formed, lessons learned, victories celebrated, obstacles overcome, and memories that will last long after the caps are tossed.

Graduates will enter at 6:50 PM, and commencement will begin at 7:00 PM. Please note that tickets are required for in-person attendance.

If you are celebrating from home or supporting our seniors from afar, we invite you to join us via livestream here: https://www.youtube.com/live/sTUkfaObhGA?si=848kyCEZA84AKZ1c
