Rain is in the forecast this week—skip the sprinkler and let Mother Nature do the work! Most lawns need about 1” of water per week to remain healthy and green.

A reminder that watering restrictions are in effect through August 31:
💧 Water only on your odd/even day
💧 Water only before Noon or after 6 p.m.
🚫 No watering between Noon and 6 p.m.

The City is enforcing watering restrictions and violations will be ticketed:
• 1st violation: $50
• 2nd violation: $100
• 3rd+ violations: $250 and possible misdemeanor charges

ICYMI: Last night, City Council approved the Infant Formula Water Program. Starting July 1, eligible households with bottle-fed infants (0–12 months) can receive a free water filter pitcher and replacement filters to help reduce infant exposure to naturally occurring manganese when preparing formula with city water. This program is voluntary and offered as an optional resource to residents. Rosemount’s drinking water continues to meet all state and federal safety standards for consumption.

📆Wednesday June 3rd at 6pm: Lawns Re-Imagined Workshop | Join us at Eagan City Hall to learn how to transform your traditional lawns into low-maintenance, water-efficient fine fescue lawns that are visually appealing and meet city ordinances requirement. The class is FREE, plus, by attending the workshop, you’ll be eligible to apply for free fine fescue seed (sun and/or shade mix), compost, and on-site technical guidance from SWCD staff to support your project.

📆Tuesday, June 9th at 6pm: Landscaping for Clean Water Introduction Class | Join us Tuesday June 9th at Rosemount Police & Public Works Campus to learn how native plants, raingardens, and shoreline plantings can bring pollinator and water quality benefits to your yard. The class is FREE and is a pre-requisite to taking part in our hands-on Design Course and grant program!

We've scheduled Ol' Smoky BBQ, the Las Tortillas food truck, Eggroll Queen, The Brick Oven Bus, Matt's Bar Food Truck, Northern Aloha Ice, and the Rosemount Knights of Columbus Pork Chop Tent.

Congratulations to the MN National Guard and the Red Bulls! We're grateful for your service and commitment to the nation and for our partnership at the Rosemount Community Center.

The facility was built in 1990 to serve about 350 men. The modernization allows support for more than 500 soldiers, male and female.
