Have you checked out the Steeple Center’s rotating art gallery? 🎨 Meet featured artist Joe Sharbono at the Artist Reception on Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 6:30–8 p.m. Joe is one of the City of Rosemount’s own Building Attendants at the Steeple Center, and his latest exhibit showcases acrylic paintings, small wire sculptures and art made from repurposed items.

Be sure to stop by to see Joe’s work, chat with him about his creative process and mingle with fellow community art supporters!

Today, Rosemount reached an incredible milestone. We were honored to join North Wind and partners from across Minnesota to celebrate the groundbreaking of the North Wind Aerospace & Hypersonic Research and Test Complex (AHRTC).

This state-of-the-art facility will bring high‑skill jobs, broaden our local workforce opportunities, and strengthen Rosemount’s impact on regional and national innovation. It also represents a full‑circle moment for our community - reflecting the history of the Gopher Ordnance Works during WWII and our early contributions to aerospace engineering.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring this major investment to Rosemount. Our community’s future is bright, and we’re excited for the growth and opportunity ahead.

According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, parts of Dakota County are currently in a drought – again – and we need your help.
Groundwater supplies more than 90 percent of Dakota County’s drinking water, so it is important for residents to conserve water especially during these dry conditions.
Here are a few simple ways you can save water and your lawn:
- Cut back on lawn watering. It only needs one inch of water per week.
- Check your irrigation or automatic sprinkler system for leaks and broken heads.
- Raise your mower height by 3 inches.
