I was so excited to partner with the Boys to Gents Club and Mr. Harper this afternoon to learn proper letter writing. They helped write letters to all of our authors from World Read Aloud Day! A good handwritten letter of appreciation is always the best! I couldn't be there personally due to a meeting, but thanks to technology, we were able to make it happen as planned!

Today is one of our favorite days of the year, World Read Aloud Day! We had 23 authors Zoom with our students today, including 2 of our very own teachers! Every student had an author visit and read aloud. Thank you to all the ELA teachers for partnering with the library to male this possible! The kids asked some great questions! We appreciate all the authors for participating! It was a GREAT day at LJH!
