FBT’s Demand Response service is a curb-to-curb, shared-ride service for the citizens of Fort Bend County. The scheduled ride transportation service provides trips within Fort Bend County. FBT’s Commuter Park and Ride service provides weekday transportation to the Texas Medical Center, Greenway Plaza, and Galleria areas of Houston. The service includes morning and evening schedules, which can be found on our Services webpage at www.FBCTransit.org.

All Intersections are now clear and open. There was no Hazmat exposure or leaks and all diesel fuel was been contained.

TRAFFIC UPDATE: August 28, 1:20 PM

The diesel spill has been contained.

The following intersections are expected to remain closed for several hours:
• Easton Avenue / US 90
• SH 6 / US 90 — lower lanes closed; upper lanes remain open and accessible
• Stadium Drive / US 90
• University Boulevard / US 90
• Main Street / US 90
Please continue to avoid the area when possible and use alternate routes.

**Traffic is expected to be disrupted for the Savannah Banana's game this evening at Constellation Field. Attendees are advised to take the main lanes of SH 6 over US-90, or access Burney Rd to Stadium Dr via West Airport Blvd.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Sugar Land Fire and Police are on scene of a collision involving a train and an 18-wheeler on Highway 90 at Easton Avenue.
Fire personnel have assessed the occupants of the train and truck, and no major injuries have been reported. Fort Bend County HazMat is responding to assist with a diesel leak. Crews are also evaluating the train’s hazardous materials freight to confirm there has been no compromise to any rail cars.
Sugar Land Police are investigating the cause of the collision.

**Westbound lanes of Highway 90 may be impacted for the next couple of hours, with traffic impacts potentially extending to Highway 6, University Boulevard and Main Street rail crossings.
**All Railroad crossings between Main and Easton will be closed for the next several hours.

Please avoid the area if possible and use an alternate route.
