This morning, MPV6-03, crewed by FTO Wang & Paramedics LaCourse, Liversidge and Richmond provided medical support to the OnsOranje Netherlands Mile March prior to their FIFA World Cup game vs. Sweden. The AMBUS was configured as a cooling station with ice, water & additional IV fluids in preparation for significant heat emergencies due to the extreme heat & humidity this weekend. Thankfully the majority of the crowd stayed healthy & hydrated and enjoyed the march. πŸš‘πŸ‡³πŸ‡±βš½οΈπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ Svensk fotboll

Recently several of our paramedics & tactical team members attended a K9 Casualty Care course hosted Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Care & instructed by Memorial Hermann Life Flight Operational Medicine. Participants received instruction on how to care for our K9 officers who may suffer a medical or traumatic emergency in the prehospital environment. Special thanks to N. Valdez, C. Brandonburg, J. Garcia, & Dr. J Anderson with SLVS, G. Tarver & A. Young with LifeFlight and E. Waldo & K. Uhlin with Houston Police Department for bringing their K9 officers to class. πŸš‘πŸ•πŸš
