👟 Putting Ourselves in Their Shoes! 💜

Yesterday, we read Those Shoes and talked about our CKH character trait of EMPATHY. We learned that empathy means putting yourself in someone else’s shoes and trying to see things from their perspective. 👟💭

We also played a fun shoe game that challenged students to pay attention to the details that make each person unique and reminded us that, just like our shoes, everyone has their own story, experiences, and feelings. 👟💭

Our Eagles are learning that when we slow down, pay attention, and try to understand others, we can make a BIG difference! 💜🦅
