In honor of today being 8/11, we'd like to remind our community how important it is that you call 811 before you dig.

Underground utility lines carrying electricity, water, natural gas and other services run beneath yards across Roseville. Hitting one while digging can cause serious injury, property damage, service outages and costly repairs.

The good news? It’s easy and free to help prevent that.

Call 811 at least two business days before you dig, and Underground Service Alert will coordinate with utilities to mark underground lines in your project area at no charge.

No project is too small. Planting a tree, installing a fence, building a deck or putting in a mailbox post? Call 811 before you start digging.

One free call can help protect you, your property and your community.

💧 A hidden leak could be wasting thousands of gallons of water and costing you money without you even knowing it.

Roseville Environmental Utilities has launched a new Leak Repair Rebate to help eligible homeowners repair qualifying leaks. After an eligible leak is identified during a free Water Wise House Call, you may qualify for a rebate covering 50% of eligible repair costs, up to $750. Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis while funds last.

By shifting your energy use outside of peak hours (4–9 p.m.), you can help reduce stress on the electric grid and support reliable service for our entire community—especially when demand is at its highest.

Before 4 p.m. or after 9 p.m., try to:

✅ Charge your electric vehicle
✅ Charge phones, laptops, and other devices
