This love was shown in countless ways- by showing up for each other this winter, celebrating our growth as a community, welcoming new families, and putting our all into our learning. 🦁🐧🦊 Our 2nd graders became animal experts this year!

Students researched animals, wrote reports, and then brought their learning to life using Green Screen technology. They filmed each other, selected backgrounds, and created their own videos to share what they learned.

🏞️🌲 Fourth graders have been exploring America's National Parks while building their Google Slides skills!

Students researched a different National Park and created presentations using text, images, headings, captions, and more.

Did you know? All 4th-grade students and their families receive FREE access to National Parks and federal lands through the Every Kid Outdoors program!

What a joyful day we had at Field Day today! ☀️🎉
A huge thank you to our amazing PE teachers, Mr. Deprez and Mrs. Brink, for all the planning and organization that made the day such a success. We’re also so grateful to all of our staff members and parent volunteers who helped run the stations and keep the fun going all day long!
Our students headed home tired, happy, and full of great memories — A perfect kind of day! 💙🐯

The Spring Young Entrepreneurs market was another smashing success! Run through the targeted services program and taught by Brimhall teacher, Ms. Stenson, the class teaches kids how to build a business and to think critically and outside themselves. What do your customers want? How will you get sales? How much should you price it so it sells? More than anything, it fills the students with pride and you can see confidence in themselves shine as their products fly off the shelf.

Ms. Stenson states, “What I love about it is that the students see that they have something to offer that people want!! The smiles and excitement of their first sale and the look of “people actually want my product” is absolutely priceless!!

Ms. Stenson will be offering the class again in the Fall! Watch for the sign up come September!

Today our K-2nd graders had an amazing visit from author and illustrator Bob Shea!

He shared his brand-new book, Bearsuit Turtle Plays a Game, and showed students how he uses simple shapes to create his fun and expressive drawings. The kids loved learning about his creative process and seeing the illustrations come to life right before their eyes!

A huge thank you to Red Balloon Bookshop and our librarian for arranging this special opportunity for our school community.

We are very short volunteers for the Book Fair this week. Ms. Zbacnik (our librarian) is starting to panic! If you can give a bit of time-- please consider signing up for a day shift! (If you can even do part of one of the shifts that are open-- it would be helpful!)

Come volunteer at our school book fair. Volunteers are needed to set-up, work the fair, and take down!
