Gala Auditions are coming up! 🎬 Auditions for RTAA's 6th Annual Champagne Gala are quickly approaching on September 13th at 6:30 PM, directed by Christi Axelson and Erin Gabriele! This year’s theme: Songs of the Silver Screen — A Toast to Movie Musicals!🍿✨

This opportunity is open to performers of ALL ages! For adults especially, the Gala is a wonderful way to enjoy performing and be part of a show without too much of a large rehearsal or schedule commitment!

It’s going to be a night filled with cinematic storytelling, unforgettable music, and all the movie magic you can fit on one stage. Registration for the next Youth & Little Ones show of the upcoming season — Elf The Musical Jr.— is officially OPEN! 🎉

Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

🎄✨ REGISTRATION OPENS TOMORROW! ✨🎄 Our next Youth & Little Ones Workshop: Elf Jr. opens for registration TOMORROW, 9/3, at NOON! Set your reminders and get ready to register your students! 🎅🎁

Buddy, a young orphan, accidentally crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole, where he is raised as an elf—completely unaware that he’s actually human! When his enormous size and less-than-stellar toy-making skills reveal the truth, Buddy heads to New York City to find his birth father and discover where he truly belongs. Along the way, he encounters a father on the naughty list and a half-brother who doesn’t believe in Santa, but Buddy’s infectious spirit and determination just might help his new family—and all of New York City—rediscover the true meaning of Christmas. ❤️🎄

We’re floating along! Tickets are officially ON SALE for our Mainstage production of James and the Giant Peach: The Musical!

When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that results in a tremendous peach... and launches a journey of enormous proportions. Suddenly, James finds himself in the center of the gigantic peach, among human-sized insects with equally oversized personalities, but after it falls from the tree and rolls into the ocean, the group faces hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements. Thanks to James' quick wit and creative thinking, the residents learn to live and work together as a family. The dangerous voyage is a success, but the adventure takes a whole new twist once they land on the Empire State Building.

Roald Dahl's W***y Wonka KIDS follows enigmatic candy manufacturer W***y Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory — or suffer the consequences.

TREEHOUSE PLAYERS SEASON AUDITIONS ARE THIS MONDAY 8/24! Already been in a Treehouse Players show? You don’t need to audition! Just submit your paperwork by the day of auditions at 4 PM to [email protected]. Include your availability and which shows you’re interested in.

Auditions for new performers are Monday, August 24th at 5 PM for performers 16+!

We’re casting three fun-filled children’s musicals:

Pinkalicious The Musical🧁

These shows perform for both school field trips and public audiences, so we’re looking for energetic performers who love connecting with young audiences! Homeschooled teens: This is a great performance opportunity, as weekday morning availability is required for field trip performances. Presenting Casper and the Disaster Master, a community collaboration of a new rock musical with music and story composed and conceived by Christopher Castles, alum of RTAA’s Constellation Theater program. For one weekend only held at Roseville Theatre Arts Academy.

Casper doesn’t see himself as a hero. He’s just trying to make sense of a world that suddenly feels unpredictable and unsafe. But when a totalitarian leader tightens control, those patterns begin to fracture. What emerges is something no one expects. With his friends and family he steps into a role he never sought: the heart of a rebellion.
