Electing Neva Parker for State Assembly could save taxpayers $100,000. Neva Parker recently called out Asm. Joe Patterson (R-Rocklin) for collecting nearly $150,000 of taxpayer money for a legislative per diem, despite living in Rocklin.

"I believe elected officials should lead by example and be careful stewards of public resources," said Parker in an email to supporters. "For 26 years, I drove from Roseville to the State Capitol for work without taxpayers paying for my commute. If thousands of Capitol employees can make that drive every day, I believe your Assemblymember can too."

Per diem is intended to help legislators who live too far from Sacramento to reasonably commute by covering lodging and travel expenses. Local representatives have traditionally waived it - not Joe Patterson.

WE KEEP US SAFE: In May, immigration officials detained and arrested two individuals near a Roseville school. Roseville Area Democratic Club organized and hosted a canvassing event to inform our neighbors.

Today, hosted one organized by a young Democrat in the PlacerBlue Fellowship, a program by the Placer County Democratic Party designed to engage and transform young Democrats into community organizers.

Our local high school students took time out of their Saturday mornings to protect our neighbors and community. We are immensely proud of the next generation of leaders shaping the Democratic Party and a future where we all belong 💙

ROCKLIN, CA - Pivoting his campaign strategy, Rep. Kevin Kiley announced he will no longer just tweet, and dream nightly, about Gavin Newsom. Instead, Kiley will now deliver his anti-Newsom rants via blurry front-camera videos recorded six inches from his face in his backyard. "We realized voters wanted a more authentic look," stated a campaign aide, acknowledging the heavy thumb smudge covering Kiley’s phone lens that gives his pale complexion an ethereal, out-of-focus glow as he lectures viewers from behind a backyard tree.

Attempting to modernize his campaign outreach, Kiley released the second of 50 planned front-camera videos recorded entirely in front of a residential hedges.

Experts confirmed the combination of his towering downward angle, ghostly pale complexion, and unmoving stare created a hypnotic feedback loop that caused viewers to forget basic economic facts within seconds.

Congratulations to our PlacerBlue Fellowship Fellows!

Our inaugural Fellowship program is concluding, and our six Fellows deserve tremendous recognition for their hard work.

The PlacerBlue Fellowship was an eight-week summer leadership development course to transform youth Democrats into trained community organizers. Individually, Fellows engaged in one high-impact project. Collectively, the cohort worked together on specific projects, including staffing our booth at the Placer County Fair, walking in Roseville's Fourth of July Parade, canvassing, and engaging with our community to connect with young Democrats.

ROSEVILLE, CA - Exhausted but triumphant, Representative Kevin Kiley reportedly retired to his home Tuesday afternoon to nurse a severe case of repetitive strain injury sustained while aggressively patting himself on the back.

The local congressman, who was not even in office when President Biden and congressional Democrats passed the landmark CHIPS and Science Act, spoke of the grueling physical toll required to draft a social media post claiming he "secured" the $225 million in federal funds for Bosch to produce semiconductors in Roseville

"Most politicians would feel awkward claiming credit for a major Democratic legislative victory passed when they were still in the state assembly, but Kevin is built different," a staffer whispered while applying an ice pack to the congressman's typing fingers. "And trying to spin a program that 187 of his fellow House Republicans voted against as a personal victory? That takes a real masterclass in imagination."
