MAJOR UPDATE: In the 6th Congressional race, Democrat Dr. Richard Pan moves to the top two as more votes are counted. This increases the likelihood of a Pan vs. Kiley General election in November. Dr. Pan is a practicing pediatrician who served in the California Senate from 2014 to 2022. Pan said he's running to fight President Trump and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s attack on health care and science.

The next update on vote counts will likely not be until Tuesday June 9th.

Placer County Democrats! Our returned ballots are above the state average but we must keep voting early.

Yes, we've heard the chatter about waiting until the last minute to vote, but that is NOT a safe strategy. "Turning in a mail-in ballot on Election Day, as some activists propose, is the worst possible scenario for election administration officials," CalMatters wrote.

Bottom Line: Vote early and vote now for the Democratic Candidate that YOU want. Bring your ballot to a verified drop box. DO NOT put it in the regular mail.
