Even though it’s been cold, snowy, and icy, we’ve had some visitors! Stop by for a book or treasure! Also, we replaced the treasure bin because the old one had cracked. One of our resident artists decorated this one!

The laundromat is boring for kids. They usually run around wild.

But every Tuesday, 15-year-old Tyrell brings a crate of books.

He sits on the floor in front of the dryers. ""Story time!"" he yells.

The kids gather around. Tyrell reads them adventures while their parents fold clothes in peace.

He isn't paid. He isn't a teacher. He just wants them to love reading.

""Books changed my life,"" Tyrell says. ""I want to pass it on.""

Leaders don't wait for a title. They just lead. 🧺📖

Guess what? We just refreshed P&B’s Book Nook with books for all ages! We also added some treasures to the treasure box. Come stop by before the snowstorm! (See the comments for closeups of some of the books.)

We refreshed our books today and added some seasonal books, too! The kids also helped make some videos with some of the new titles. I’ll add them to the comments. 🙂 We also made sure the motion light is ready for our visitors who come after 4pm!

We headed up north to spend a week at family camp (a wonderful time!) and our library was a little empty when we returned. No worries! It’s replenished and ready for you to stop by and grab a book to read before it gets too hot outside! 🥵 📚 ❤️

Our last little book buddy found a home! If you have any small stuffed animals that need a new home, we’d love to take them to be someone’s new book buddy!

Tonight we did a book refresh so stop by sometime soon! There’s something for everyone including some cute bookmarks, puzzles, and other treasures!
No video this time because it was getting dark and the mosquitos were hungry!

On Saturday morning, we’re having a little yard sale so we will also have extra books out (for free, of course). Stop by from 9am-11am if you’re in the area.
