City workers are clearing streets to stay ahead of the upcoming snow. Be curtious and allow us to do it by stating clear. The more its drove on the harder it is on the equipment. Stay home unless you have to be out.

INFO:.WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
MONDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow
accumulations of 12 to 18 inches and ice accumulations of one
tenth to two tenths of an inch possible. Winds could gust as
high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast South Dakota and west central
Minnesota.

* WHEN...From late tonight through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Patchy
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

Now that school has started I want to clear up any questions about the speed limit in school zones. Speed limit is 15mph in school zones When children are present. This mean when children are coming to and from school and anytime they are outside of school for recess.

Patrols will increased in the school zones. As you can see the fines are a little more expensive than normal.
