Good morning, neighbors! I wanted to take a quick moment to clarify my position that I am the pro-business candidate that has actual, real-world business experience with a knack for creating sustainable businesses from scratch.

I didn’t inherit my business like my opponent will – I’m self-made.

By saying I’m pro-business, I don’t mean that I shop locally – we all do that I think – from groceries to dining out to entertainment – my dollars always stay local. I do mean, however, that I know exactly what entrepreneurs will be challenged with as they build their dreams. I also mean that I understand navigating the exhaustive requirements for establishing a business at the local, state, and federal level.

I promise that I will streamline this process at our local level, which is by far, the biggest challenge for anyone, whether that is someone chasing their dreams or a company looking to relocate, I guarantee you that I have the experience to make it better.

FIVE days of early voting are left, and election day is November 7! I respectively ask for your vote so we can drive our city forward economically, protect our valuable greenspaces, and continue to fight over-development of high-density projects!

10/29/2023

One quick post today before I head out to be in our amazing community – I want to set the record straight on a couple of things.

First and foremost, I have no connection with and no allegiance to anyone in the current city administration, up to and including mayor and council. When I ran for the open seat last year to fill Zappata’s unexpired term it was because I knew I had the skill set and the determination to drive our city towards great economic growth while curbing further high-density development. No one knew me and I didn’t (still don’t) run in any social circles. Yet, I worked my butt off last year and thanks to so many of you who supported my vision and my experience, I earned over 20% of the vote! Last year, I met with as many people as I could within the city – including all the department heads in a meeting my opponent did not attend – to learn what their thoughts were as to our opportunities, as a whole, to be better. My commitment to you then is my commitment to you now.

Second, fiscal responsibility. As your only candidate with an education and background in accounting with experience in budgeting, expense management, profit generation, as well as fraud detection and prevention, I will bring a level of fiduciary responsibility this city hasn’t seen in quite a while. I will ensure our tax dollars are managed correctly, cut waste, and improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our city.

Today is a beautiful day to live in Roswell! Get out if you can, it’s going to get cold this week!

Happy Saturday, Roswell! We have 7 days of early voting left and then THE day on November 7th!!

We've had tremendous momentum so far and your vote is extremely important in this election to protect our city from further reckless high-density developments!

Even through this wonderful momentum, my opponent is STILL trying whatever she can to distract voters from the simple fact that she has taken considerable PAC donations from the likes of those that want to over-develop Roswell with MORE HIGH-DENSITY housing and the killing of our natural greenspace.

For example - now my opponent is publicly declaring that I “continue to rack up fines for state ethics violations”. Like many of my opponent’s closest supporters, she is speaking out of turn about something she doesn't know about – much like not knowing how the budget approval process works and her steadfast approval of one QUARTER OF A MILLION dollars of our tax dollars only later to publicly claim she was ignorant to the circumstances.

So, for those still reading, here are the facts.

I kept my campaign open from last year's special election and was cleared until the end of 2023. THAT IS, UNLESS I was planning to run against my opponent in the regular election the following year. I was already all-in for our community, so I knew then there would be some housekeeping to attend to and I was okay with that. I wasn’t done fighting for my city. So yeah - that's it. It's as simple as that.

My opponent is giving a masterclass in distraction from her TRUE intentions and her many pointed public comments.

Get outside and enjoy this weekend! It is going to be awesome!

PS. Enjoy the photos – they are from right here in our beautiful city I’m fighting to protect.

Good morning, Roswell, and Happy Monday! As we gear up for early voting beginning today, I wanted to share something important with you to think about as we head to the polls to vote for the success and the future of Roswell!

While I am focused on us in Roswell, my opponent is all in for growing the metropolitan area of Atlanta and its incessant need to consume neighborhoods and pave north. It’s blatantly apparent, especially considering the recent reporting of campaign contributions for our local election. I’m ALL IN for us; I’m ALL IN for Roswell.

I’m VERY proud to say that I accepted NO political PAC money and less than 4% of my financial support came from outside Roswell. My opponent, however, reported that a whopping 43% of her itemized financial support came from OUTSIDE of Roswell - with 25% of that being PAC money!! You can smell the influence of high-dollar, external donors.

In telling you that I’m ALL IN for us, I have put my money where my mouth is; nearly 95% of my campaign contributions are self-funded by me and my companies that are headquartered right here in Roswell. I have ZERO outside influence in my vision for our future and what I believe is the best way to move us forward. I want to bring us high-quality jobs while my opponent wants to bring us even more high-density housing which will only exasperate traffic and diminish our best-in-class first-responder services.

I will focus on protecting our greenspace, improving local career opportunities, and driving Roswell to the front of sought-after areas for companies looking to relocate. I promise you we can do better!

VOTE Jason Miller for Roswell!!

Happy Sunday, Roswell! The past 2 weeks have been BUSY on the campaign trail with door-knocking, meet and greets, and connecting with voters any where I can! We've had 2 debates which I'll recap separately, to show you why I'm the best candidate to represent residents and small-business owners all across our city.

From Alive in Roswell (nominated for "Best of Georgia" in the festivals category!!) to the 4th Annual Roswell Motoring Festival, it is great to live in such a great city with so many things going on.

As your only pro-business candidate with 27 years of business experience, including 20 years of creating and building my own technology businesses headquartered here in Roswell, I understand firsthand what we need to do in order to streamline the process of building a business here in Roswell - I know how to fix this. And growing and sustaining a business here? I've done this too.

I'm the only City Council candidate that owns and runs a business that offers internships to our local high school students interested in learning everything - from operations to administration to sales to success - I teach them all my skills.

I've heard horror stories of businesses taking years to open here in Roswell. I'm a fixer, and I promise to streamline this process as one of my first initiatives!

In an effort by my opponent to distract voters from her focus on higher density, urbanization, and less greenspace, she is attempting to portray herself as a different voice. As many out-of-touch politicians will do, she continues to claim unawareness of the issues presented in the AJC article published yesterday and said she has asked to see the contract but hasn't received it.

My opponent voted in favor of the FY24 budget each time it was presented in session, including the budget amendment on August 28th, 2023. My opponent could have easily asked that each budget amendment line item be separately voted on – and at that point she could have simply voted against that line item if malfeasance was assumed.

Furthermore, my opponent ALSO stated that certain trade-offs were necessary in budget negotiations and that not passing a budget would be a disservice to our residents. I disagree with her style of governance for two reasons; first, voting against a budget does NOT mean a budget doesn’t get passed – it simply means more work is yet to be done. Second, I also disagree with the fact that trade-offs are necessary to achieve a balanced budget - especially in light of the transparency we each vowed to bring to office. That, my neighbors, is a disservice to all of us!

As the only candidate running for city council that has a built-from-scratch and sustainable business headquartered in Roswell for the last decade, I will absolutely ensure that our tax dollars are accounted for, and every penny is spent wisely and appropriately. I'll never vote to approve a budget that I don't fully support and understand! I’M ALL IN for us!

Justice at work! This morning, I was able to attend a press conference held at City Hall discussing the take down of a network of human-trafficking massage parlors across Roswell and in a few neighboring cities.

This investigation began well over a year ago and to see it culminate with 3 individuals facing RICO charges and the temporary shutdown of these facilities was sweet justice. Now to make sure the 2022 ordinance that paved the way for this will legally prevent these types of business from reopening is key! The cooperative effort between the City of Roswell, Georgia Government, the Roswell Police Department, the Fulton County District Attorney's Office, and neighboring cities is outstanding.

We are very fortunate to learn that the victims of this heinous activity were safely removed from the scenes and several private organizations were ready to assist in helping these people begin the long road to recovery.

Thank you again to Roswell Police Department and their continued representation and protection of us to ensure we remain the most family-friendly city across the region!!

Happy National Hispanic Heritage Month!
Fri, Sep 15, 2023 – Sun, Oct 15, 2023

This is a great time to remember that although we may have differences in heritage and ancestry, we have so much more in common with each other than we may think!! Let's celebrate this opportunity for us all to connect, work together, and to make things better in our communities.

I look forward to representing ALL Roswell residents when I am elected on November 7th - no matter who you are or where in Roswell you live.
