☀️🐆 Summer Play Date Thread for EJE Families!

Looking for ways to help your Jaguars stay connected this summer? Use this thread to organize casual play dates with other Esther Jackson families!

Great meetup spots might include:
• Esther Jackson playground
• East Roswell Park
• Martin’s Landing playground
• Other family-friendly parks and spaces nearby

If you’d like to host a play date, comment with:

👧 Ages/grades of your kids

If you plan to join, REPLY to the comment with your child’s age/grade so families can connect easily!

To help keep this thread useful for everyone, try to post planned meetups rather than last-minute “we’re here now!” park/pool visits.

The Esther Jackson Cub Scout Pack 199 has a great lineup of summer activities planned for kids and families—including hikes, biking, outdoor adventures, and more!

Summer activities include:
📌6/14 – Flag Day Hike, 2PM | Martin’s Landing Nature Trail
📌 7/26 – Bike Rodeo, 1:30 PM | East Roswell Park
📌 8/8 – Summer Hike, 9:30 AM | Leita Thompson Memorial Park
📌 8/16 – Raingutter Regatta, 1:30 PM | Martin’s Landing Field
📌8/17 – Kickoff Meeting, 6–7:30 PM | Roswell Pres

All EJE students (incoming K-5th grade) are welcome to learn more and join the fun! 💙🐆

PTA Volunteer Appreciation Party! 🥳❤️

A huge thank you to all of our incredible PTA volunteers for the time, energy, and heart you poured into making every event so special for our students, families, and staff this school year! ❤️ We truly couldn’t do it without all of you!

We also want to give a special shout out and thank you to Deep Roots Wine Market & Tasting Room for generously hosting our Volunteer Appreciation Party! 🥰 Your support and hospitality helped make the celebration extra special for everyone.

And last, but certainly not least, we are so thrilled to recognize our Parent and Teacher Volunteers of the Year! ⭐ These two individuals have gone above and beyond for our school community, generously giving their time, positivity, and dedication year after year. 🥰 And now… the moment we’ve all been waiting for… drum roll please! 🥁
