‼️ EXCITING NEWS‼️

✈️ Our new fixed wing base in Las Cruces is OFFICIALLY open and in service! 🙌🏻
Native Air 33’s Pilatus PC-12 can transport patients farther distances for higher-level medical care, and it is often able to operate in weather conditions that may limit rotor wing flight. It may also be able to carry more weight, additional medical equipment, and in some cases, a family member.
Like all of our sister bases across the White Sands and Energy Basin regions, it has industry-leading clinicians, cutting-edge medical equipment, whole blood, and other critical care advancements on board every flight. The people of New Mexico, Arizona, and western Texas are in good hands with Native Air 33!

Some legends never disappear… they just wait for the right time to make a comeback.

After being quiet for a while, Native Air 35 is back on social media, and we’re excited to reconnect with the communities we proudly serve.

Whether it’s responding to critical emergencies, supporting our first responders, or providing rapid critical care when every second matters, our mission remains the same: bringing advanced care to patients when they need it most.

Over the coming weeks, you’ll see more of us, not just in the sky, but here as well. We’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes looks at flight medicine, introducing our crew, highlighting community events, showcasing lifesaving equipment, and offering a glimpse into what it takes to bring the ICU to the patient.

So if you hear the rotors overhead, know there’s a dedicated team working to make a difference.

Native Air 35 is back. New stories. Same mission. Always ready.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Odessa Fire Rescue as they mourn the loss of one of their own. We are deeply saddened by this loss, and our hearts go out to the Odessa community and all who knew Lieutenant Huerta.

This is an incredibly difficult time for the Huerta family, Odessa Fire Rescue, the City of Odessa family, and the entire Odessa community and beyond.

To provide the latest information and answer questions from the media and public, Odessa Fire Rescue Chief Jason Cotton and Odessa Mayor Cal Hendrick will hold a press conference today at 1:00 p.m. at the Central Fire Station. The briefing will be livestreamed on the City’s page.

In addition, we have created a special online condolence page where community members can share messages of support, memories, and condolences.

We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to the entire Trans Aero team and Roswell community. We stand with you in grief and in honor of their service.
In the medical transport world, the bond between crew members is profound, and a tragedy like this resonates deeply through the entire community.

Our hearts are heavy as we extend our deepest condolences to Trans Aero MedEvac following the tragic accident in New Mexico this morning. While this was not an Air Methods program, every loss is felt within the close-knit community of first responders and emergency medical professionals. We stand alongside the Trans Aero MedEvac Team during this incredibly difficult time, honoring the dedication, service, and sacrifice of those who answer the call in life’s most critical moments. Our thoughts are with the crew, their families, loved ones, and the entire Trans Aero Team as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.
