🌧️💧 Save the Date for KRB’s Rain Barrel Workshop!

Join Keep Roswell Beautiful and Fulton County on June 27 from 10 AM–12 PM at the Bill Johnson Community Activity Building in Roswell Area Park to learn how rain barrels can help conserve water, reduce stormwater runoff, and support a healthier environment right here in our community. 🌿

Whether you’re new to rain barrels or already practicing sustainable gardening, this workshop is a great way to learn simple actions that make a big environmental impact at home.

🛒 Rain barrels are also available for purchase through the KRB website:
• $65 for a complete barrel + kit
• $25 for barrel only

After purchasing, simply stop by the Recycling Center and let the team know you’ve completed your order for easy pickup!

🌿 Welcome to the KRB Board, Kim Sonderman! 🌿

We’re excited to welcome one of our newest Keep Roswell Beautiful Board Members, Kim Sonderman! Kim brings a passion for environmental stewardship along with her background in biology and public administration to help support KRB’s mission right here in our community.

Kim loves Roswell’s incredible connection to nature — especially the Chattahoochee River and surrounding green spaces that make our city so special. One of her favorite sustainable habits is bringing reusable containers when dining out to help reduce single-use plastics and styrofoam. ♻️

Join Keep Roswell Beautiful on May 21 as we support recycling efforts at Alive in Roswell, the City’s premier monthly street festival! Volunteers help set up recycling bins and collect recyclables after the event to help keep Roswell clean and sustainable.

It’s a fun and easy way to give back to the community while supporting environmental stewardship right here in Roswell. 🌿

We are thrilled to announce the 2026 Rivers Alive theme, the Legacy of Georgia’s Waterways - Protecting our roots, cleaning our routes: preserving the antiquity of Georgia waters 🦋🎉

This year, we look back to move forward. Our theme honors the profound history of Georgia waters and the Indigenous Peoples who have lived on and served these lands for thousands of years. Their stewardship represents the heart of the Rivers Alive mission, to provide clean water for generations of Georgians to come.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to the Tribes who first cultivated these lands and established a standard of environmental harmony. We also thank the incredible volunteers who carry this torch today, transforming history into a living legacy of conservation.
