After 18 years in Wiphan’s program, Emmanuel has reached a pivotal moment.
He lives in a household of 15 with his grandparents, siblings, cousins, and extended family. There are 10 children in the home, many without stable parental support. The family relies on small-scale farming, and some days, one meal is all they have.
This is the reality Emmanuel is stepping out of.
Now, he has the opportunity to pursue training in heavy machine operations, a skill that can lead to stable, reliable work.
For Emmanuel, this step is about more than a job, it’s about helping cover school fees for his siblings, supporting basic needs at home, and creating a different future for his family.
Beyond that, he dreams of becoming a civil engineer.
He is ready to move forward. He just needs someone willing to walk with him as he grows into independence.
Would you consider being that person?
