Is the election over?

For you, the voters, your part is complete.
For County Clerk’s Offices all over the State we still have a ton of things going. Every Clerk’s office in the State has at least 3 write in candidates. Write ins must be hand tallied. Our office had a team of 12 people who worked 8 hours yesterday and will continue until we’re finished.
Making sure EVERY vote is accounted for properly is tedious, time consuming work.
You will see results changing online as we complete our work. Hand tallied ballots, military and overseas ballots - these all affect outcomes and will be entered in the coming days.

Please be patient with all of us as we do our due diligence in making sure we hold fair, free, and accurate elections.

We LOVE seeing our voters turnout to vote! We do have a line at the County building. If you don’t want to wait, consider one of our other locations!! 3 hours left!!

Hey Chaves County!! Election Day is tomorrow. We want to provide you a # to text should you want to communicate with us.

Please consider a couple things:
1. Staff has worked tirelessly to prepare for you to have a convenient and easy voting experience.

2. Election workers have spent hours training to assist you & will work a 14 hour day.

3. We are all human - mistakes will happen - most things are correctable.

We don’t just accept complaints. If a worker does a great job - get their name & text us a shout out - we will let them know. 😊

If a location you vote at is nice - let us know. These locations open their doors to you - the voters.

If you do experience a problem please let us know. We will do our absolute best to resolve your issue in a timely manner.

Please keep in mind…. There are 8 of us in the Clerk’s Office and over 30,000 of you.

Also, please be kind to the election workers. We couldn’t do this without them.
