HISTORY COMES TO LIFE THIS FRIDAY! Do you see the resemblance? Theodore Roosevelt is coming to Roswell — and everyone is invited! This Fri., Oct. 16, nationally recognized reenactor Joe Wiegand brings America’s 26th president to life in Teddy Roosevelt and the American Experience at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center.

Experience Roosevelt’s remarkable life, adventures and accomplishments, from the Spanish-American War and Panama Canal to conservation, progressivism and even his connection to Roswell through his mother, Mittie Bulloch Roosevelt.

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: SR 400 Express Lanes Project

Beginning today, Oct. 12, weather permitting, access to the Roswell Public Safety Headquarters will change as part of the ongoing SR 400 Express Lanes project.

Both buildings will remain accessible via Old Dogwood Road throughout construction.

Please plan ahead, follow posted detour signs and allow extra time when traveling through the area.

See the Roswell Police Department's post below for full closure details and alternate access routes.

🚧 Heads up: our main entrance on Holcomb Bridge Road is closing for construction.

Starting Monday, October 12 (weather permitting), the main entrance/exit to the Roswell Public Safety Headquarters and Roswell Summit buildings at 1080 Holcomb Bridge Road will close for roadway construction on the SR 400 Express Lanes project. The closure is expected to last about 2 years.

We're still here and still accessible. Please use the entrances on Old Dogwood Road to reach the Public Safety Headquarters.

The MARTA bus stop on Holcomb Bridge Road at Old Dogwood Road will remain open at this time.
