Friends of Bulloch

Friends of Bulloch Bulloch Hall, the childhood home of Teddy Roosevelt's mother, Mittie Bulloch, is a Greek Revival home in Roswell, GA .

It was built in 1839 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Bulloch Hall is one of several historic homes in Roswell, GA. This particular home is where Mittie Bulloch, mother of Theodore Roosevelt 26th President of the United States, was raised.

For those new followers that don't know...each year Friends of Bulloch has the fabulous Magnolia Ball which is our major fundraiser for the restoration and preservation of Bulloch Hall. It's a wonderful black tie event with a great sit down dinner, band, dancing, auction. Next year the date is May 22. But because it is the magnolia ball, magnolias are dear to our hearts. I just saw these wonderful magnolia leaves the other day and had to share the beauty.

Friends of Bulloch, local DAR & SAR organizations, members of the Roswell Historical Society, Roswell city officials, along with Mayor Mary Robichaux attended the dedication of the 250th anniversary garden bench donated by The Piedmont Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution this morning on the beautiful grounds of Bulloch Hall.
