⚠ TRAFFIC ALERT ⚠

Location: Military Road, between Volkman Street and Evelyn Street near Gaska Park.

Scope of Work: The installation of a modular concrete arch bridge structure, road resurfacing, curb and gutter additions, sidewalk installations, and storm/watermain utility replacements.

Timeline: Starting Monday, June 8, 2026 work expected to continue through the month of August. Please plan accordingly for alternate routes.

The Mountain Bay Metro Police Department is partnering with Culver’s and Be Amazing for a donation event on June 17, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the three Culver’s locations in Rothschild, Rib Mountain and Wausau.

A percentage of the sales, and 100% of the donations will be split between the Mountain Bay Metro Police Department K-9 program and Be Amazing. We appreciate this opportunity to partner with Be Amazing as they continue to help many aspects of the community with their programs.

To support this event, all you have to do is order food from one of the Culver’s locations on June 17, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., or donate through the QR Code on the event flyer.

Village Hall Offices will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day. We would also like to remind you that the Veterans Memorial Park right here at the Village Hall is always open for reflection and gratitude for remembering military personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Certified Master Gardener Faith Gokey will share her passion for monarchs and offer guidance and inspiration grounded in science and personal experience. Faith has spent more than 10 years to transforming her gardens into native plant habitats where monarchs can feed, rest, and complete their life cycle.
