Need to report an absence? Log into Skyward!

1. Log into Skyward and click on your student’s Attendance tile.
2. Click on the green + Add Absence Request to the right side of the Absence Request tab.
3. Complete the Absence Request Details.
4. Click save in the upper left corner of the request and you’re done.

Have a doctor’s note? You can attach a doctor’s note to your Absence Request before or after you have submitted it. If you have already made a request, click edit and then the Attachments link in the upper right of the request.

Meridian World School is proud to announce that the district earned an 'A' rating of 96 in the 2025-2026 School Accountability Ratings, earning all seven academic distinction designations available in the Texas Education Agency’s ratings system.

The Distinctions in Achievement in these ratings compare Meridian to similar schools (taking into account campus size, student populations, socio-economic levels, and more.

Meridian has enjoyed an 'A' rating every year since opening in 2011. Our administration continually strives to improve and refine our support of our students, embodying the IB mission to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people.
