Sometimes the best way to understand the impact of TBCH is to hear it directly from the families we serve.

Gloria came to TBCH looking for stability for herself and her children. During her time here, she earned her bachelor’s degree, saved for the future and built a strong foundation for what came next.

Now living independently, Gloria remains connected through TBCH aftercare services. We’re grateful she chose to share what this season meant to her. 💚

It’s back-to-school season, and our TBCH kiddos are heading into the new school year with brand-new backpacks packed and ready to go!

We are so grateful to everyone who donated backpacks, school supplies, clothing and other essentials to help our children feel prepared for the year ahead. Thank you also to the volunteers who helped bring it all together and made our Back-to-School Bash such a special day.

Your generosity and support helped our kiddos start the school year with everything they need to feel confident and ready to learn. 💙

Summer is better on the water! ☀️🛶

Our TBCH Rec Team recently took the kids out for a kayak adventure, giving them a chance to enjoy the outdoors, try something new and spend time together.

The day even included a surprise visit from a feathered friend! It was a fun summer outing filled with fresh air, time on the water and a few unexpected moments along the way.

We’re hiring a part-time Maintenance Technician in Round Rock!

This role supports the Maintenance Supervisor in keeping TBCH grounds, buildings, vehicles and equipment in good working order.
• Complete assigned maintenance requests
• Assist with building, grounds and equipment upkeep
• Provide support in the Commissary as needed

Applicants should have experience in building maintenance, operating related machinery and equipment, and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. A high school diploma is preferred. Applicants must also have an approved criminal background report and qualify under agency vehicle insurance.

Families move forward when they have the right support around them. At TBCH, mothers and children have access to safe housing, counseling, a caring community, and practical resources that help bring stability to everyday life. Whether it is a secure place to stay, someone to talk to, guidance through a difficult decision, or encouragement toward a goal, each part of that support helps families take their next steps together.

Over time, these steady supports help mothers develop practical skills, grow personally, and recognize the strengths and God-given potential within them. As mothers work toward greater confidence and independence, their children experience consistency, care, and the security of moving forward together as a family.

We’re hiring a part-time Volunteer Coordinator!

This role helps ensure volunteers feel supported, prepared and connected to the mission of TBCH.

• Coordinate volunteer activities and support recruitment efforts
• Work closely with the Volunteer Program Director and department staff
• Help volunteers contribute meaningfully to program and ministry needs

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, two years of related social service experience, reliable transportation and an approved criminal background report. A bachelor’s degree in human services is preferred.

What an incredible week at CG Victory Camp! We saw kids step out of their comfort zones, cheer each other on, and make memories they’ll be talking about for a long time. Most of all, we’re thankful they had the chance to hear the gospel in the middle of such a fun and meaningful week.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, served, and helped make camp possible. We’re grateful for what God is doing in the lives of these kids and already looking forward to next year!

CG Victory Camp may be over, but we’re still celebrating all that God did last week! Our campers brought so much energy to every chant, every game, and every moment together. It was a joy to watch them grow in confidence, build friendships, and hear about the love of Jesus throughout the week.

We’re so grateful for the CG Victory team and the way they poured into our kids and families. More pictures coming later today! 📸
