Rowland Water District originally provided water service to 200 local ranchers and farmers. The District was formed in 1953 and provides potable and recycled water for approximately 55,000 people through 13,500 service connections in portions of Rowland Heights, Hacienda Heights, La Puente and the cities of Industry and West Covina.

💙 Thank you to everyone who joined us last week! Our Board Room was packed for the Pest & W**d Management Workshop! We loved seeing so many customers eager to learn new ways to care for and spruce up their landscapes.

The fun isn’t over yet…we still have FREE workshops coming up in September, October, and November.

🐾 Next up: Gardens for Kids & Pets! September’s workshop is extra cool and we’re inviting the kids to join in for a fun, hands-on activity while learning how to create safe and welcoming outdoor spaces for the whole family.

💧 They answer approximately 400 phone calls each month
💳 Process more than 500 in-person payments every month
🏡 Create all new service applications, schedule our field staff to verify leaks and assist if customers have questions, processes all water bills and so much more!

📢 New California Law on Non-Functional Turf Irrigation

California's AB 1572 prohibits the use of potable (drinking) water to irrigate non-functional turf on commercial, industrial, institutional (CII) properties and HOA common areas throughout the state.

Today we're celebrating Tony and his 4 years of service with Rowland Water District!

Tony began his journey with RWD as an intern before accepting a full-time position at the City of Tustin. Fortunately for us, Tony returned to where it all began, and the rest is history!
