Over the weekend, some misinformation was shared on social media (specifically Nextdoor) about Big A Cemetery being removed/relocated for future land development. Let me emphasize that this is NOT TRUE.

This graphic shows Grayhawk Ranch (a residential community) being built to the west. The boundary is clearly visible, and the driveway for Big A Cemetery is shown in red.

Officer Initiated Calls refer to instances where an officer proactively initiates interaction. These can include activities such as Traffic Stops, Business Checks, Investigations, Crime Prevention Checks, Community Contacts, Traffic Details, and Motorist Assists, among others.

•What are Calls for Service?
The Calls for Service totals are referencing calls generated in response to calls that came into our communication center and were dispatched out to our officers.

•Which offenses are categorized as crimes against a person?
Crimes Against Persons include: Criminal Homicide, Kidnapping and Unlawful Restraint, Sexual Offenses, Assault, and all those in which the victims are always individuals.
