Rowlett Public Library has done it again! For the twentieth year in a row, the library has been honored with the Texas Municipal Library Directors Association’s Achievement of Excellence in Libraries Award. Out of 542 public library systems in Texas, only 102 received this recognition, placing Rowlett Public Library among the top 19 percent of libraries in the state.
Achieving this level of excellence year after year is no easy task. It takes a dedicated team, innovative programs, and a deep commitment to serving the community. From literacy initiatives and digital resources to special events and engaging programs, the library continues to evolve to meet the needs of Rowlett residents.
The library expressed gratitude to its staff, volunteers, and community for their continued support, stating:
